Blogger Meeting
Thank to Rob for advertising the Puget Sound Political Blogger meeting, an informal gathering that we do occasionally.
Rob and Kristi Heim of the Seattle Times brought up something last night worth considering: If a political blogger (or blogger group) accepts money from a political organization (party or PAC) in consideration of blog content or continuing the blog, should that be disclosed by the blogger(s)?
I, of course, think that disclosure should be mandatory. But I don't get paid to do this little-noticed scribbling. If I did, I may come up with a different opinion because it's my personal income and therefore none of your business.
